Detailed description

A joint effort by Rotary clubs along the Gaba Corridor, the medical camp provided free health services to over 500 community members, including general consultations, dental and eye care, cervical cancer screening, antenatal services, and testing for HIV, diabetes, malaria, and hepatitis—offering not only diagnosis but also on-site medication, in a strong show of Rotary’s commitment to community well-being and collaborative service.

We learned about the community’s needs through consultations with local leaders, previous Rotary outreach feedback, and a rapid needs assessment that highlighted limited access to basic healthcare services such as screenings, maternal health, and chronic disease management.
